Hayton was our best player last night, was very impressed.. What our new defence I can't spell his name, what nickname are we giving him?
Hayton was fine, but Cooley I thought was the best, or at least one of the best forwards last night. His two way game is getting better and better. Our D was not bad either. I have been very impressed with Lamoureux, not only this game but all his games. Playing the D position and showing poise right off the bat at his age is a very good sign. Also, liking the way McBain's game is progressing.

Good on offense, but Maybe you missed the goal against at the end of the end of the second - not good defence by 92 or 11 on that play.

Remains to be seen if Bear can figure out a way to have this team play better team defense. I realize the defense is not what it could be but I'm not exactly convinced with his gameplan defensively either. They are lucky they have enough talent to stay in games like this when honestly they got outplayed in almost every facet.

Agreed, our season will hinge on team D improvement. That is Bears job number 1 right now. Unless you think we don't have enough good defensive players, then its on BA for a misconstructed team.

Part of it are the injuries. Losing Durzi was a huge loss. Marino we haven't seen but we know he's a legit dman as well. I have never really been impressed with Bear and his defensive "strategy". With those guys back the team will be significantly better but also I wonder what a different coach would have this team playing like.

True, but they hung in there with a much more talented team, and got a point. Let's see where this team is at the 20 game mark.

Maybe, but an unlucky bounce as well.

True, but injuries are part of the game.

Spicooley too often (seemingly) has his mind on tasty waves and knarly buds for me to get too excited about his play. That won’t change, until he gets his mind off of splitting the D, being interviewed by “babes” and partying with Mick Jagger.

AT has liked his play, and I guess that is all that matters.
