In McDavid’s NHL era, if you have one defenseman who can make a play you’re going to look slow. This defense is a shit show offensively and defensively and that’s entirely on JR.

Tremendous defence there. How easy of a zone entry was that. Dumo and Ruh abandoned the blueline to back in on Murray, and Ruh still managed to get beat wide. The difference between how easy our opponents zone entries are each night, and how difficult ours are is pretty large most nights.
