I mean, what has Rust actually done this season? I find it hard to blame Sheahan when Rust's been an absolute ghost all season long. He's got Tyler Kennedy's tunnel vision, but without getting shots on net like Kennedy did.

A bunch of Rutherford's signings in the offseason have been duds so far. The Oleksiak contract and getting Riikola have been the only positive moves, everything else has varied from meh to bad.

Geno was winning battles where Kadri was marking him and he almost always had one or two more guys positioned to help him. Someone needs to make a play when Geno moves the puck through that.

That said, Sully's bench management is a joke. He's having matchups dictated to him at home. It's Bylsma like arrogance.
