Have they stopped listening to MSL? They didn't look like this last year. Maybe the loss of Monahan and even Kovacevic created more of a void than management envisioned when they chose to move on from both.

I was not a big fan of trading Kovacevic and Monahan didn’t make much sense to compete financially with the offer he received.

Playing like a team that doesn’t have an identity or something to fall back on when they’re not getting the bounces.

It’s not like the Pens are playing great but it’s like whenever there’s a breakdown, it’s complete chaos and the puck ends up in the back of the net.

He'll get more time than that, but for real the team has quit on him. It came much quicker than I first thought would happen.

Which leads us to our current problem. We are gonna need to hire a bit of an hard-ass coach to motivate our players, let them reset a bit.

But that coach will need to be able to balance-out development for the young players, winning more games, and also keeping in with the rebuild. Won't be easy to find the right replacement.
