GDT: Game 12 - It's Cali-ween! Blackhawks @ Sharks 7:30 and Dia de los Muertos celebration

I've not read through the thread yet. Watching on DVR right meow. I like to read the GDT after I've watched on DVR, but I just had to say:

YAY! Smitty!!!!!

And boo Sharks for not having the theme from "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" ready and queued up for the occasion...

If you use the NHL app, check out the awesome angle they give of Will Smith’s second goal. Really amazing work by the NHL.

Good game to be at. Sucks that I looked away to answer a question right as Smith scored his first goal.

i usually sit in the upper deck at Sharks games to see the entire ice and watch plays develop. However this time I finally got seats near the ice.

I never understand the thought process that ice level tickets are the best seat in the house.

Whenever i went to the sharks games in ottawa i would always try and get tickets in the 2nd level right on the bottom row. Best seats in my opinion.

When I go to Sharks games, I target seats in the lower upper deck and as close to along the attacking goal line.

My Barracuda season tickets are lower than I'd normally like and I've thought about moving up higher. However I've kept my location for when I take my mother to games. As she has gotten older, she has had trouble with her knees and hips. So my tickets are located on the 5th row, which is the level the stairs come out to at Tech CU.

I was only down near the glass one time and that was a free rookie game after Fanfest. When I had the Sharks pak I was in the upper level behind the goal (Under the banners). You see more in the nosebleed section. Of course the game feels a little slower and you might pick that up near the glass, but seeing the line changes and just how everything just flows made the game even better for me.

You definitely see things better from higher up like that, but my god, the speed and physicality on display from ice level is mind-blowing.

I'm pretty sure this was the first game all season that I didn't SNOG as 3/2....
Glad to see the team play real hockey again!
