Nill re-signing him for 2 years didn't make sense at the time. You've got to take away all of the players PDB likes from him because they're ... not good. I'd rather have Back on a no-nonsense grind line shift when the team is 100% healthy. I do understand his presence as depth with the uncertainty of whether Seguin is going to play on any given night.

He's effective sometimes but mostly a turnover machine and not great defensively. A lot of plays die on his stick and he's just kind of out there doing nothing in particular. No clue why we gave him 2 more years, I thought we learned this lesson before. I know people love their 'Daddy', but he's fallen off hard...
