Still want to defend him?

I will only explain this to you one time. Listen up. Every fcking goalie in this league, especially backups, have crap games from time to time. This is one for him.

It amazingly issue to crap on a player when they are struggling. Good for you. Same thing, when you don't like a player you beat on them every time they make a mistake. He is not Bob. No one in the org is expecting him to be. Get used to it. We're going to pay Bob a lot of fcking money. That means we're likely not going to have great backups. It's the nature of the beast. We're most likely waiting on our farm system to get an improved backup. Not hard to see.

What I came here to say was that was a goal in which he should have been pulled.

Yes, I know I'm being condescending.

That's okay blahblah. You gotta be you! :laugh:I

In fairness to me, I've been quite consistent in my evaluation of McEilhinney - average games and bad. You're wrong to accuse me of kicking a guy when he's down.
In fairness to you, I agree that he's just a stopgap until Forsberg or Dansk step up and take the backup position.

Curtis has a GAA of 5 at this point, so tonight is not just an off night. This is the norm for him and he shouldn't be on this roster.

Nobody is playing well currently, so I agree we can't hang it ALL on Curtis. But Curtis is sporting about an .850 save percentage, and has had all bad games so far this year.

All of those threads that talk about trading for another top six forward overlook the more basic need: an NHL caliber back up goalie.

Mac has looked bad in every game that he has played this year.
