I didn't really follow the offseason much, was there money issues for Vancouver? Is this why they lost these people?

Green is the scapegoat and the Canucks losing a bunch of guys certainly doesn’t help, but he’s not entirely blameless. They were piss poor defensively last year too, but Markstrom always bailed them out. Like the Islanders, if COVID didn’t happen they likely would’ve missed the playoffs altogether instead of going on a run.
