It's unfortunate a bit the way hockey has gone.. a decade ago the position Kreider was in a guy would've cleaned Bergerons clock there.. still can in this day and age you just rarely ever see it. Kreider does a bullshit fly by and they exit their zone

This is a game where this team deserves Babcock demeaning them into tears. 2nd period they were flying by playing simple north south hockey. Nope, gotta try to Harlem globe trotter against one of the best defensive sound transition teams in the league for the past decade.

There are a bunch of small issues in the cheaper portions of our lineup that are all showing out in this game…

- No cheap, steady veteran defenseman to either replace a top 4 injury or hold one of the top 4 accountable if they play like trash. Just zero room for error

- Goodrow, Blais, Reaves, and Carpenter are all bad players/contracts and the Rangers should be getting far more from the sum of their contracts

I'll never understand why people think Keenan/Babcock/Torts style coaching works. You can't yell players into sucking less.
