This team needs to understand... the cutesy shit doesn't work as much against well structured top teams.

STOP FORCING IT AND GO FOR THE SIMPLE PLAY

Shooting the puck may open that cross ice pass...

All of their best chances this period were of this variety except for the goal

Why is Pastrnak still skating unscathed? Reaves has no other use in this lineup and yet we might have a second concussion to a key player in like 2 weeks.

Of course he does.

Schneider is the one who usually biffs it up on that pair but he's quickly become the most blame-elusive player on the board.
generally agree but he gets a pass tonight for dunking on Frederic

flipping thru all the games tonight on ESPN+, noticing we play slower than pretty much every other team aside from maybe NYI
your teammattes need to be skating and attacking to play fast.

you can move the puck in circles all you want but if no one is moving, you're going no where fast

and please for the love of God....

stop backing up to the dots.
In Jones case he's just not confident enough to play a tight gap but once Lindgren went down I have liked his game offensively, it's seemed like everytime he plays with one of the veterans he feels more comfortable leading the rush and carrying the puck up ice.

I'm just not sure him and Jones are a great pair. Having two kids who haven't even played a full season try and figure it out together will always be a recipe for.... mistakes. Hasn't been a disaster though so that's a win at least.
