And we were all on board with the 2023 moves.................
all 4 professional sports greatest teams lost
Cubs
Warriors
Patriots
Bruins

The silver lining is we only have 2 not all 4;)

Also Belichick & Monty screwed up clinching games with bone head moves

Prediction 4-2 Flyers. Bruins offense will continue to sleepwalk.

Flyers moneyline is +120, +185 in regulation.
I’ll throw a little bit on that line. It’s not a bad bet with the way the Bruins have been playing. It should be a bad bet but it’s not.

I am hoping the Bruins win the next two games. I believe today the Bruins win 5-3 and break out of the slump. McAvoy has not registered a point in the last 7 games but today I hope it all changes for him and the other Bruin players who are struggling.

So Monty not fired? When I heard that practice was cancelled I was sure that meant Monty had to go have a sit down with Don and Cam. Guess not.
Alright, carry on then. I'm sure this game will be different :)
Maybe they'll have more than 10 shots on net this afternoon!

They’re not losing to the Flyers twice in a week.

**** is dreary right now but feelings can quickly change after a nice win.

Unpopular and arguably a shitty opinion for a fan to have, but losing would at least help solidify the need for direction

Bigger picture, I’m now starting to wonder if it’s worthwhile wasting Pastrnak/McAvoy years

Change the locker room pre game music and rituals. Anything to change the vibe the team puts out before going out on the ice. In the Toronto game, they looked amped and ready to play before they hit the ice for warmups and they responded with a good game. More of that, please. The game of hockey is a balance of emotion and discipline and so far, they have shown little of both - these guys need to get excited again about playing together.

There’s no “wrong” or “right” way to be a fan.

I envy those who are able to love and support the team no matter what the roster looks like and how it performs!

There will always be the doomsayers as well where nothing is ever good enough.

I think a realist looks at this roster as presently composed and the eyeball test says it’s not a contender.

But what to do?

The cupboards are pretty bare. There isn’t much in terms of trade capital to flip at the deadline for a pick as a rental.

So you’re looking at gutting through, hoping they find their game, try to make the playoffs and hopefully win a round.

The standings aren’t as dire as the play on the ice has looked. It’s still salvageable to an extent, but they’re not contending for a Cup.

And bottoming out is no guarantee in terms of setting yourself up to contend again in 3-5 seasons.

In the meantime, I suppose I’ll watch because it’s what I do.

Today I "celebrate" my 55th year on the planet. I am choosing to do so by not taking part is occupying 2.5-3 hrs of my time watching our boys.

There are times I simply need to step away from watching and that time is now for a bit. I know it`s time when Bruins losses start creeping into my overall attitude.

So, enjoy, hope they win

I have been a Bruins fan for over 50 years and during a lot of those years, I could not watch many games because they were rarely aired here. Once the internet became available, and then Game Center, I have watched almost every game. Win or lose, I will always watch and hope for the best. I want to make the playoffs because I want the season to last longer. 2011 was heaven, that summer I walked on air.
