Too many spectators on defense, as not enough quality shots on their goalie.

They are missing Montour at both ends tonight.

I’m going to turn it off and come back later.

Checked the score on my phone, going about how I was afraid it might go. ESPN says Mahura and Fleury are the only defensemen who are not in minus-something on the night. Looks like the 3rd is about to start, I think I'll just wait for the TSN recap to hit YT for this one.

Kartye is the only guy that is hitting people (8 hits) and he has played the least time of any forward (8:47).

We pulled Joey with five and a half minutes left in the third. Like the move.

...and Tolavanen gets one back.

Wow. Matthews intentionally banks one into the empty net off the side boards.

Wow what the hell...

How do you lose a defensive zone faceoff THIS BADLY with 4.6 seconds left on the clock in the 1st? I dont think I've ever seen anything like it.

And that's Knies, the eventual goal scorer, skating into the circle from the side boards completely unmarked. Stephenson presumably has neck pain from the whiplash but Oleksiak just puck-watches as the entire thing happens 3 feet in front of him.

The second and third are just gross : sustained cycling pressure by the Leafs during 5-on-5 play, Kraken players become fatigued and you can see them become more and more scrambly as the seconds tick by; Leafs end up with a completely unmarked player on the back post and are able to throw a pass through traffic for an easy tap in.

Hung D'accord out to dry for all 3 IMO, and Matthews skill shot EN was a perfect way to cap it off. Sad because the first 19 minutes and 53 seconds of the 1st looked pretty good, and then the wheels just came off. The rest of the game looked like an AHL team playing against NHLers.

Larsson, Borgen and Oleksiak...just...woof.
