What's a regulation win?
Kings 5-0 in bonus hockey! Snap 3 game losing/scoreless streak!
Lewis
Greene
Dowd

Discuss!

At some point, a regulation win, will come. The top players have to be better.

The Bottom six is doing it's part. Budaj is playing his guts out.

Kids hung in there tonight... if you can call them kids... but our "YOUNGER" players.

Our bottom line centers the last couple of years have been sad. Lecavallier did a NICE job but we need a guy like DOWD that can pitch in and provide energy/speed. He even makes brown look better than normal. I think we know what we get from Shore / Lewis which is not all that much.

Encouraging about Dowd slotting in on our 3C.

Lewis & Greene scoring in the same game! Quick everyone buy lotto tickets.... There's tons of luck in the air!

Oh yeah.... do not want MAF. Not even for Brown.

Well maybe for Brown.

Edit: Tank Watch: Coyotes won tonight as well so it didn't hurt the tank much.

gravel looked good playing both pk and pp He needs to stay. Purcell give him another couple games to get his legs or time to go ahl I would also say drop king a line or two but i know that isnt happening soon Good win go kings go

Dowd is exactly the type of player, you end up losing in the expansion draft.

Vegas is going to get some good players due to the CAP. These fantasies of Vegas taking overpaid bloated contracts, are just that, fantasy.

Really great effort tonight.

Any idea what the NHL record for most calendar days between regulation wins? I think we're over 200 days now. Thanks a long time.

Yup, the only way the Kings don't lose Dowd is if they take McNabb or they take Gaborik as one of the big contracts of talented players they are going to have to take.

Vegas will take some big contracts, but not someone like Brown. They could look at Gaborik because he could realistically score 25+ goals if healthy, but I think the term is going to maybe prevent them from realistically looking at him.

Pittsburgh playing back to back on the road, with Fleury in net, unexpected goals from Lewis and Greene, and it still takes 3v3 OT to win.

No Quick, no Gaborik, no McNabb, 34 year old 3rd string goalie, etc, so the goal is to just hang in there. It's not the same team, it's not the same team, it's not the same team. The expectation has to be to scratch and claw out points. It's not the same team, it's not the same team, it's not the same team.

It won't be the same team (as is now) in 15 more games.

As I said to start the season, wouldn't put any stock into the first 25 games what so ever.

It's an extremely poor draft(projected talent wise), a high pick in this draft, would not be ideal.

I doubt Lombardi lets a productive center go in the expansion draft, should Dowd show over the course of the season that he's a long term solution. That means they probably lose McNabb, unless they make some sort of trade, but if Forbort/Gravel/LaDue works out, then if McNabb were picked, it wouldn't be too horrible.

Have to put some stock in it. The games count. Maybe if the Kings hadn't been living by the 3v3 point last year too, what's going on this year isn't as similar. They were doing it too often last year with Lucic, and Gaborik for the first half, and Quick.
