he needs it, he shouldn't have come back for the heritage classic last year. Should have taken time to rest and recoup because he was injured all year and no can tell me otherwise, in fact I think he's still hurt, in addition to his new injury, which just might be an escalation of what he was already dealing with.

Once in a while happens. Skinner does it regularly.

There's nuggets of truth in what you and @Tobias Kahun have been saying.

Fundamentally, both guys are a bit streaky, with Pickard the least so.

Pickard is a more traditional goalie with better movement and better puck handling.

Skinner is huge and when he uses his frame properly he's a tough guy to beat and is probably one of the most positionally sound goalies we've had in a while. His issues are centered around puck tracking imo.

Skinner's best is very very very good, like astonishingly good. Skinner's bad is downright terrible. Pickard's best is pretty good and his bad is meh.

Riding Pickard gives you more consistency but over the course of a season he'll be between average and below average. Skinner is wildly inconsistent but over the course of a season he normalizes and is average to slightly above average.

He always looks to pass unfortunately. I'm not sure what the Canucks did to him, he had a great shot his rookie year

not sure where you are but it’s nonstop here until Tuesday. Then the ads about where to sign up for the Civil War brigades will start. I seriously was told that today. Wednesday if a certain party loses, there is a plan to initiate a civil war starting Wednesday. She’s a dear friend but I didn’t know whether to laugh or pity her. Yeah I think starting him in the AHL after missing a whole year was the right choice. Conditioning stint or whatever they call it.
