after that game, he earned himself a bad penalty to balance it out.Cardwell really tackled that guy.
If he was good the blocked shot would’ve gone into the empty net.All those who talk shit about Mario will completely ignore how huge that block was.
Again they’re the only players with a positive +-It's telling that the coaching staff put Ferraro-Rutta out there with a late lead. That's who they trust in defensive minutes, hence why Rutta is playing despite so much offensive ineptitude.
the one thing you cannot shit talk about him is his heart. All those who talk shit about Mario will completely ignore how huge that block was.
Nah, credit where credit is due, that was huge. The one thing Ferraro does well is block shots. All those who talk shit about Mario will completely ignore how huge that block was.
Mario Ferraro's heart is top 10 in the league.the one thing you cannot shit talk about him is his heart.
Hey, I'm just glad Ethan Caldwell's parents didn't have to sit through an awful game. The crowd of several hundred at the Tank enjoyed that game
That's the name I couldn't remember.kris russell never retired. he just changed his name to mario ferraro.
I remember the first game I went to where they didn't even announce the attendance... it was like, welp, we're officially in the rebuild years now...The crowd of several hundred at the Tank enjoyed that game
That's what happens when you have basically only one defenseman that can reliably move the puckCaldwell looked really good, I was very impressed.
They all played way looser generally and corrected after a bad 2nd to come out for a pretty good 3rd. We're winning on the strength of basically Eklund, Granlund, Zetterlund, Toffoli and Walman, but obviously the hustle of guys like Goodrow, Wennberg, etc., helps a lot.
One thing that drives me absolutely crazy is when the defensemen (the root of all our problems, really) panic toss the puck up the wall to the other team's waiting D. That's part of the reason we got hemmed in a few times in the 2nd period -- no one to take the puck and skate it out, or just like, pause a BEAT to find the good pass.
Other than that, they did it and it didn't seem like it took every bit of their ability (like every win last season) which bodes well.
God, I want Celebrini back.

There's no reason Luca shouldn't be getting a look with the big club by now. That's what happens when you have basically only one defenseman that can reliably move the puck
