Lindgren has literally failed his way back up to the top pair.
Perhaps the 1 year deal should give us comfort for the long term view of Lindgren's place on the roster. In the short term we should be deeply worried because our HC has willingly bumped him back into a role where he's going to have a dramatically negative effect on the team (this was true when he got pushed to play with Trouba too but that wasn't enough.)

Obviously not in the cards but this was a Rempe game if there ever was one (besides having to fit Vesey); early sleepy Sunday start, at home vs a depleted isles group and after what transpired between the teams in preseason
