Welcome back to "Who Is That Player?" Today thanks to an injury to Grzyxyxjsx and McAvoy's imprudent headhunting we have the pleasure of examining Mason Lohrei.

The answer to countless future trivia rounds, Mason is the first NHL player to hail from Louisiana, specifically the capital, Baton Rouge.

"Red Stick" Lohrei, as I call him, attended THE Ohio State University for 2 years and was selected 58th overall in the 2020 draft.

Spending only 12 games in the AHL Mason now finds himself on Boston's second pairing next to Kevin Shattenkirk. He's already recorded his first NHL point and will surely record his first NHL goal tonight against the Stars, preferably in the first 5 minutes.

Lohrei was ranked as Boston's #1 prospect by The Hockey News this fall.

This concludes "Who Is That Player?"

i blame you for this

Typical PDB. Overachieve in the first season then ass the remaining ones :p. Glad I didn’t pay $200 for this game.

This game is boring. Maybe I'll put on the Bruins feed so I can listen to Edwards.

Harley looked like he'd rather be anywhere else than leading that rush

Stars win the faceoff? Blow it dead

Swayman's been good but also insanely lucky. He's sitting down making some of these saves

I'm not doing this to myself tonight. If you've got the resolve to keep watching, I commend you, but right now I've got a sink full of dishes that looks more appealing than this mess.

Honestly I could go for a line that just wants to cycle the other team into oblivion rather than feed pucks back to Hakanpaa at the point

If we had any finishing ability at all it'd be over for the rest of the league
