I really haven't been impressed with the Tavares Nylander duo for a few games now

It's just not working. I always knew the Tavaras contract would be a problem one day, but I never thought that day would come so soon. I just don't see an $11 million man when I watch him play, and I didn't see it last year either. It's a contract that's going to haunt us I think

Petan actually looks pretty good, nice hands, some good vision and seems to be in the right spots.. only one game but he hasn't looked out if place

Also I know the 2nd line hasn't got much chances but Simmonds looks good on that line.. aggressive and not out of place at all.

JT works better with harder workers. When Thornton and Robertson come back I would like to Try Hyman and Robertson with JT and Thornton back with Matthews and Marner.

Why does Andersen always go down on his belly on every cross ice pass? He goes down and throws his glove hand up hoping to make some kind of contact.

He’s a mediocre at best goalie that requires a Top 5 D to post solid numbers.

He’s not horrendous, but I have no idea why any fan of this team likes him.

He's made plenty for us even this season. Good teams don't require their goalie to make impossible saves repeatedly because they completely lose one of the other team's best scorers.
