What is that, does it involve falling over?
We usually suck on CBC. But, it's flames without Kipper so, My guess is 5-2 Nucks.
Canucks 4-2
1st period
3:29 CAL Gilmour (Leeman Peplinski) sh
19:59 CAL T.Hunter (Vernon Otto) sh
2nd period
NO SCORING!!!
3rd period
11:22 VCR Schroeder (Kassian Tanev)
15:50 VCR Schroeder (Hansen Ballard)
19:01 VCR Schroeder (Raymond Higgins)
19:34 VCR Schroeder (Garrison DSedin) en
We also usually suck when it comes to back up goalies for some reason.
CBC + Irving = Canucks lose
Game #11 vs the Flames.
Seeing the number 11 associated with the Canucks and Flames brings back warm and fuzzy memories.
You yunguns will have to ask your Dad's about that glorious day.....
I predict that Mr. Canucklehead predicts that Schroeder will get his first NHL goal.
(no, but seriously, he will)
Bad news guys, I am going to the game, put all your money on the flames cause i am on an epic losing streak at games 5 games combined score 23-4 the nucks have been outscored
"While at the University of Minnesota, Schroeder studied many subjects, such as history, math, and transporting magic rings to Mordor..."
Calgary seems to be improving and we seem to tire on b2b games...I'll give this one to Calgary, 3-2.
Expecting a bit of a snoozer, to be honest...
I'm thinking I've been jinxing him, so here's a reverse - he won't score in this one. In fact, he'll be so bad that they'll make him last to board the team bus after the game, slam the door in his face, and then tear out of the parking lot - making sure to drive over a puddle and splash him on the way - while leaving him there standing alone, just as it starts to rain. Wait, Calgary - as it starts to snow.
...YOU MONSTER!!!
He'll have to score a goal eventually, right? He and his linemates are playing too well.
Watching Calgary's backup have the game of his life.
Irvin (sp?) has potential but he was up against Columbus. We shouldn't have an issue bombarding him. Of course, logic and this team does not always compute.

I really, really thought he had one in Minny - he was standing in front of the net, it was completely empty, and one of his linemates tried to thread the puck through Suter's legs to him. Would have been a tap-in, but Suter managed to shuffle it away.
Regardless - Schroeder is doing all the right things, so at some point the offense will come. At the least, he's been a threat out there. And I don't think it's a coincidence that every one of Raymond's goals have been scored whilst #45 is on the ice.
The fact it's a backup we're playing against really worries me.
