Can they try someone else in McAvoy’s spot, he so dam predictable

I get that he's the #1D and SHOULD be able to quarterback the PP but....he just doesn't have it. I'd try Hampus there to see what he can do. I'd also tell the PP units to keep moving and shooting the puck. This stationary bullshit has to stop.

With how bad things have gone I’ll go with the Bruins winning 3-2 in OT. Anything can happen eh? Pasta gets 3 points, the PP scores 2 goals, Swayman challenges the whole Canes bench a la John Wesnick vs Minnesota. Hot Rod has a meltdown and we all laugh.

I should probably stop eating all this Halloween candy and then posting on here….….😂🤪

Let’s go Bruins!

Yeah, it's more than that though. McAvoy and Lindholm have both been so carless with the puck (Marchand too). Just not paying attention. Was it McAvoy who stickhandler it right into Pasta's skates as he was winding up for a set breakout? McAvoy turned it over for the EN goal. Lindholm didn't realize there was a stick on the ice and tried to pass it through it, he didn't realize Coyle was covered and on the ice and tried to pass the puck to him... Unforced, careless turnovers.

It reads to me like a complete lack of focus, attention, give a shit... I'm a huge fan of McAvoy but I hate that he's going to be back on PP1 after the way he's played there all season and I wish Monty would send the top4 D a message as well.
Pay more attention to the forwards in the D zone, the centers are brutle and the wings never antisipate rim arounds and never box out the pinching dmen.

The D is the least of the worries in my view, they will get better.

The forwards I have no hope, just no talent up there save a few guys. Our depth forwards are big but are also very slow, no transition game will fix that.

Mine as well just let the D go and skate it out as often as possible.

This nonsence that McAvoy is the issue with the power play is laughable. Mine as well put 4 cones out there with him because thats what they look like.

Hard to generate anything when all 4 guys are standing in the same spot for a minute.

Moved to NC, it's warmer than WI :)
I just moved south of Raleigh this summer so this will be my first game in years. My two boys are both in high school and outgrew their old jerseys so I'll be digging into my jersey collection for them. I've decided to wear my Samsonov jersey I haven't worn in 20 years. My two boys will be wearing my Pasta and Marchy. I hope the B's play a good game - I can live with a loss as long as they show up.

Per NESN here are tonight's lines. They are very different from what we've seen. Monty broke up the "4th line".:

Johnny Beecher — Pavel Zacha — David Pastrnak
Brad Marchand — Elias Lindholm — Mark Kastelic
Max Jones — Charlie Coyle — Cole Koepke
Trent Frederic — Matthew Poitras — Justin Brazeau

Playing Carolina makes me groan. Hopefully with their backup in net, we'll have a chance of not being smoked tonight.

Can't say I agree. Bad effort is bad effort. Carelessness with the puck is on you. It's nobody else's fault.

Disagree on McAvoy too. Again, unforced turnovers on the PP. He consistently passes up chances to shoot, and because he's not a threat to shoot other teams overplay Pasta.

I'm a fan of McAvoy but he hasn't played well, and for what he's paid and his role on the team that's not good enough.

Yes!!!
Move! Skate!

Me complimenting the leafs is rare.
However they move the move the puck, plus they move, they shift their positions, thus it makes the opposing team guess a bit
Uuuuuuugh....I feel sick now complimenting the figLeafs. 🤮
