I just hope he doesn’t jumble the fourth line like practice. Fourth line is good leave them alone. Thier chemistry is good let them cook. Get Lindholm with Marchand and Pasta with Potrias and give that a try. I have seen few good passes between these two when they have been on the ice together.

Marchand-Lindholm-Frederic
Brazeau-Potrias-Pasta
Zacha-Coyle-Geekie

Probably could switch Zacha and Braz, but I really haven’t seen much chemistry between pasta and Zacha this year

I think it's downrighr disrespectful that all bruins fans on here that are calling for Monty's dismissal we've had a slow start but that is not on him that's on the play is not performing up to their capabilities he has done an excellent job in his tenure here just because we're not nine and one out of the gate like the previous two years doesn't mean he should be fired we got a very long way to go this team has a very good core of players and has some young players that progressing we have an elite forward and elite defenseman and elite goaltender have some faith things will change this is a very good hockey team that can play with anyone in the NHL I truly believe that they will work their way out of this you will see

it would be interesting to see it would go in the D zone with the bold line.

Really hoping Monty keeps the lines they practiced with. If he does I think it will inject some life into the lineup. If he doesn't the players will know he's all talk and no walk.

Issue is it's the one line with any chemistry, forecheck, and physicality.

It could easily backfire as well to 4 3rd lines with no identity.

I just realized that the Bruins lead the league in power play opportunities. Which seems remarkable to me as I always equate a high number of power plays with team speed. In any case, let's hope they take advantage tonight. I'm in an optimistic mood, and am anticipating a win.

That is an incredible stat.

Largely because the far better Bruins teams in recent seasons are nowhere close to the earned ratio for PP opportunities (game management).

Benefitting from game management this season is nearly insulting as the Bruins then go on to waste the time away.

They didn't really play the fourth line on Tuesday - Koepke got 8 and a half minutes. I don't think a fourth line should be etched in stone in October with the team struggling like this.

Saying the right things IMO. This lineup is all about the 4th liners work ethic rubbing off on the guys who should be leading he charge.

I only wish he found a way to do the same thing to the defense.
I always felt that a good defence needs forwards and more inportantly support from the centers to transition passes to low danger areas.

We are not getting any of that from them.

D will fix its self once that improves. McAvoy needs to worry more about being that tough sob and protect the house before he worries about offence.

Looks to me the entire unit is suffering from maybe being told we need more offence from the back end.

It's not just the slow start. It's the choking in the playoffs, screwing with the lines, completely botching the goaltending. Now add a team that looks as if it completely lacks leadership and work ethic. All those factors combined. Fwiw SweNeely should go out the door too.

Yeah, it's more than that though. McAvoy and Lindholm have both been so carless with the puck (Marchand too). Just not paying attention. Was it McAvoy who stickhandler it right into Pasta's skates as he was winding up for a set breakout? McAvoy turned it over for the EN goal. Lindholm didn't realize there was a stick on the ice and tried to pass it through it, he didn't realize Coyle was covered and on the ice and tried to pass the puck to him... Unforced, careless turnovers.

It reads to me like a complete lack of focus, attention, give a shit... I'm a huge fan of McAvoy but I hate that he's going to be back on PP1 after the way he's played there all season and I wish Monty would send the top4 D a message as well.

The good news is if they win they jump from 8th to a 3rd place tie with the Leafs in the division. . . .

All is not lost, the time has come to turn the season around. . . .

At least I am not a Yankee fan, hahahaha what a perfect disaster that was. . . .
