Leadership issue

Hate to say it but I think that is a big part of the lack of professionalism I keep seeing game after game this season. I have no doubt the leaders care but they can't seem to rally the followers and the coach's words seem to be going in one ear and out the other.

Well folks, it's still early in the season. We've got that going for us. These are the "dark" days I thought could be plausible this time, last year.

I am totally against tanking, even if it is not on purpose. The next time they negotiate the CBA, the owners should hold out for nobody under the age of 33 having a no trade/no movement clause. Kills the ability to clean this up quickly.

No, there is something rotten here. They are just way off, like they have never played hockey as a team before. There is no urgency either. This isnt like they are getting better. They are getting worse.
