Would be like a sequel to the Patty Roy turning point when he requested out of MTL for being shown up after getting over peppered. I wouldn’t have minded the switch a couple goals sooner to be honest. They needed a spark. Monty’s never had a good pulse of goalie switches going back to 23’ 1st round Game 6 when he kept Linus in there after blowing multiple leads.
