Four goals in a little over ten minutes. Wow. Serves me right for getting here late.

It might be a throwback to my Leaf days, but I always like playing the Canadiens, especially in Montreal. There is something just special about it.

This is the first game that I see Hutson playing. Really an exciting player. Canadiens have a lot of potential in their team.

Interesting factoid: The NBA and MLB have never had a player whose last name begins with "X." The NFL has one, Oshane Ximenes who plays for the Patriots, and now the NHL has their first one, Arber Xhekaj here in Montreal.

Apparently me not watching is a good thing?

Holy buttcheeks the GDT over on the Canadiens subforum is already 32 pages long…

And before anyone says “it’s been up all day”, they posted it less than 2 hours ago

Yikes. Doesn't seem to make much difference whom Montreal has in net. I'm at the point where I wish we could start saving any more goals for a rainy day.

Kraken definitely struggle against the top
Teams ( Dallas, Carolina) but dominate the bad teams (Nashville, Montreal). So are we a good bad team or a bad good team???
Barring a complete horror show in the third period, we will complete our first ten games with a 5-4-1 record. That would translate to roughly a 90 point season. Only once in the last three years would that be good enough to get into the playoffs as a wild card team. I think that makes us mediocre to poor at the moment (so, good bad team), but check back after the next ten games. I still think we look better than last year.

Yeah #8 seed seems likely. But if they do
make the playoffs they’d be a tough out
We were a tough out against Minnesota and Winnipeg, but I don't think we have been a very tough out against anybody else. I think we have to do more (and I trust we will) to earn that reputation.
