Hopefully the USA brass are using their heads and rest their star players, including their starting goaltender. The big game for first place is tomorrow vs Sweden. They need to save their best for tomorrow, the lower lines and spares can do the job against Kazakhstan.

outside of goaltending, can't really do that...trap game could happen, we just saw how well they played last night...go all at them with everything you have, we need to build momentum and confidence after a meh start against Slovakia..

They need to grab an early lead then lock it down and rest their stars in the third. Good thing the starter is getting the night off.

Who is expected to be the starter tonight for USA? and who do we expect to be the number 1 guy going forward, everyone counted Keyser out, but he looks to be right at the top of the conversation.

Primeau is expected in net...

not sure who is the #1 goalie, but I would be surprised if Keyser doesn't get the call on Saturday and for him to go the rest of the way until he drops the ball..

This will be an easy win for the USA. Kazak defence is a disaster, plus they played yesterday. Would be not surprised if we get another double digit score here.

Will the same people who complained about the Canadian victory over Denmark messing up the individual tournament statistics make themselves known again?

The Kazakh goaltender, Demid Yeremeyev, kept the game from being a complete double-digit blowout yesterday. His performance was otherworldly.

I think this game could get ugly. The Kazakh team has major defensive issues.

I was at the game v Finns last night. The crowd was VERY pro Kazahkstan. The Victoria crowd was rooting for the underdogs for sure. Made for a fun atmosphere. I hope they start the same goalie as last night and he stands on his head again.
