The goaltending confounds the scoring. Maybe the team is finally getting tired of bailing water out of a sinking Skinner ship. I mean how many times have they had to. 5 goals to win Skinner has happened so many times.

3-0 after 6 SOG in first period should almost never happen. Its common enough for Skinner to give up 4 in first.

Shouldn’t have got that much period, St. Lou had cap and needed youth. Calculated risk. Oilers had zero cap to play with. Unfortunate circumstance. Our RD continues to be an issue though, not sure there is much hope to improve it. Oilers appear to be holding in house open auditions to fill the 2-3 RD.

Well that depends on how much you beleived in Brobergs playoff and AHL year or not. Blues belieived in it, we didn’t. I’m not saying it’s an easy choice though. Some cut throat GMing would have been needed to get it to all fit. We didn’t believe enough in Broberg to try it though.

The PP is officially an unmitigated disaster. Realistically, even with the bad PKing so far, this team would be like 7-2 if the PP was any good at all.

I personally thought they'd have some difficulty scoring as they simply pulled more goals out of the roster than they replaced AND it isn't as simple as plugging in new players when you are trying to replace offense and build chemistry again. I figured it would take a while to build up the offense again and overall thought they'd have difficulty reaching the output they had last year.
