Skinner going to take all the flack, a good amount deserved, for the whole team being unable to execute.

Penalty kill is brutal. Starting with goaltending but not taking lanes or sticks.

Powerplay can’t score. A couple good looks but on the 5 on 3 you have to score.

Just general offence isn’t there at all.

What was your pregame assessment in the Pittsburgh game? I mean if you say he’s going to suck every single game, your confirmation bias will be brimming.

Well considering he came out onto the ice the exact same way, then obviously he knew he’d shut the bed against the Pens, against Carolina too.

Confirmation bias is at an all time high with him. Hes still drunk of German beer after the Drai birthday game yesterday.

Levy the voice of reason again as I said it will be 3-0 by end of first. I knew they wouldn't start well. The question is do they have character to make it a game? Mcdavid gone for rest of game and maybe a few games may be what this team needs. He wasn't doing much anyways and let's see if this team can play like a cohesive group. Skinner was very good in the Carolina game. I said that multiple times in those threads. He didn't have much to do against the Pens in what I described as the worst opponent effort I've ever seen in a game. I mean he had 5SOG to contend with 33mins into that game. He's almost have to swat the puck in his own net to get a GA.

But he was probably gonna get right around 7 if he played consistently good. He's gonna be lucky to get 5.5 with the way he's playing this season.

He can't be trusted. He is unpredictable and that is the biggest issue with him.

2 really nice saves and solid saves through out leading to a shut out.

Skinner is a good dude but such an inconsistent and frustrating goalie. AHL plugs outperform him one of every 2 games.

We need some help in net and on D.

We get good scoring chances yes, but horrible conversions seem to get us an instant goal against.

Very hard to watch these guys. I love em to death and I want to be optimistic! But I’m running out of patience for them to dig in and show us something

You can not continue to turn in these types of goaltending performances and be considered in the top half of the league, let alone a player to win a SC with. I mean every goalie has a stinker occasionally but this hasnt gotten better.

My general assessment is that Skinner is arrogant as hell and the slightest bit of accomplishment sends him tossing his head around like he's a runway model. You want my honest opinion?
