Such a shame what this franchise has become, thank god Mr. Beliveau and Mr. Richard are not seeing this..... They would be heartbroken 😔

Honestly, this game showed:

1. inexperience, while Seattle's defenders knew when to hold, when to play, how to cover the lanes, your youngsters sometimes rushed unnecessarily, made mistakes in positional play. When someone has Montour, Larsson, Oleksiak versus Xhekaj, Strubble and Mailloux, that's a pretty significant difference.
2. the play of the centers, Dvorak and Dach are a skating tragedy, but while in Dach's case it's understandable, the play of a center and a winger with a center like Suzuki are two different things, Dvorak should try the AHL.
3. shot quality, watching those shots is a masochist's feast.
4. skating, you can see your players don't always keep up, 3 games in 4 days must show.

If I had to make a lineup, it would be:

Caufield - Suzuki - Slafkovsky
Newhook - Kapanen - Heineman
Anderson - Evans - Gallagher
A. Xhekaj - F. Xhekaj - Dach

Kirby needs to play. But until he returns his shape, with that kind of play no higher than the fourth line. Armia is showing nothing either.
A pair of Xhekaj brothers could tighten up, it would be more cheerful.

By the way, Lane Hutson is a great player. If Guhle is okay, they coud be a great pair.

If you rebuild, they will come.

This team lacks tons of quality players. But with St. Louis...we've learned to lose with the smile.
