The kings would be a scoring machine if they took this advice.

But then again when we elevate, we either shoot it wide or right in between the goalie chest.

It's not as easy as that, Quick proved how wrong that thinking is last year.

The puck still has to travel through the middle of the ice, even elevated.

So a Goalie can still cover that.

There are about 12 Guys in the NHL that can consistently pick Corners. None of those guys plays for the Kings.

Kopitar's dump in just got an unlucky tip, he was purposely not trying to dump it in hard, because he doesn't want the team bouncing back quickly, wants them to go skate for it. Gagne's shot was good and there were two players in the vicinity of the crease, the rebound just didn't go their way, and puck luck? The Kings have played pretty well, and he emphasizes sloppiness to the dismay of his co-workers, let alone fans.

Those small plays helped win the Kings the Cup. It's been missing pretty much all year so far.
