Reflex taught from youth hockey is to shovel the puck not close hand on it….. after puck dropped from crossbar he simply needed to swipe it… this was Barron’s second error on that shift

Problem started w failure to clear puck high off the boards from behind his own net

He was surprisingly good at moving the puck last year, very good passing and good shot that he'd always get on net for rebounds.

This year, not so much. Not sure if it's overconfidence or just sophomore jinx, but he's not as effective with the puck
