Been watching since the 80's.Can't think of a worse 40 minutes for a Canadian team. 98 was special with a loss to the Kazahks but this was an ass kicking in every department. Offense, defense, goal and bench staff.

What a trouncing! Hopefully the fans and the Canadian media won't pick one player as the scapegoat and try to hang it on them. This was a team loss and everyone bears responsibility. These are 17 and 18 year old kids and people need to keep that in mind. Every game is different and hopefully Canada can bounce back.

If they were smart, they would rub this off as a fluke. We’ll see what happens. This team just isn’t very good either. Perfect storm.
