I follow the Flyers as a secondary team, more so this year since Bally Sports folded and I no longer get Dallas Stars games.
Michkov is electric, and the main board thread on him possibly being better than Bedard isn't unwarranted. I pull for him, too, after all he went through losing his father.
The Flyers are in a similar position as the Bruins in that it feels like the team has tuned out the coach. The one difference is it is Philly's first line (Konecny, Couturier, Michkov) that is producing, not their fourth.
The goaltending carousel in Philly continues to turn, but their defense isn't helping.
I've watched them enough to wonder what all the hype over Jamie Drysdale is.
Deslauriers has been in the lineup, which is a factor if anyone is thinking about paying back Ristolainen for his pointless preseason hit on Poitras.
