Not with Monty. The loss doesn't bother me as much as the lack of response again.

What do you mean by "after" the first period? They trailed 4-1 at that point. They quit before the national anthem was over.


It is NOT on the coach to motivate the players; it is on the players to motivate themselves.

What IS on the coach is the lack of pre-season playing time by the top players. They hardly played at all.

It's the coach's job to have the team ready to play and to have a gameplan for the opponent. Monty doesn't seem to have done either in this case. Now you can always argue he did and they didn't do what he said to do but we can never know that for certain. All we know is they do not seem to learn from the past experiences when it comes to Florida. Not one little bit.

The other big thing, which is the same as last year, is that this heralded D falls apart under a fast and heavy forecheck. This happened several times last year and Florida is of course the best at it.
