Hutson's the only guy in the system that is on another planet with his skills. The other is Demidov. Insanity will ensue in the next couple of years.

If Kapanen continues to show up like this, I don’t like the idea but Roy could go to the AHL until the rest is sorted out by injuries or a trade.

Lane Hutson and Oliver Kapanen deserve their praise. Hutson was (and I try not to use this word) dominant.

But some others had great games as well. Barron had a good quiet game, absorbing pressure fairly well. Tuch and Heineman did well, Laine and Dach showed flashes of what they're capable of.

Goalies were stellar, Andy scored.

Hard to find a complaint.

Calisse seriously...out of every single player I talked against since I follow hockey...Kapanen is top 3 in making me look stupid as f***.

Come on...either we keep him...but any chance we keep him in Laval?

Keeping him with the team is pretty simple actually, no way management allow Pez to be in the way of a prospect with high upside. The "real" issue is it would kinda "mess" the projected roster... One of Dvo/Evans would be pushed to the wing.

Dobes gives me much more confidence than Primeau.

That being said, Hutson is showing a very similar evolution to Faber (MIN). Best Habs prospect outside Demidov.
