my hot takes after 1 period:

-Hutson is a cheat code on the ice and already thinks the game faster than anyone other than maybe Suzuki. They all look like a bunch of potatoes on the ice missing his passes or not anticipating them. If he continues to play 3 steps ahead of everyone else, I'm less concerned with him playing at 162 - for now.
-Kapanen (and Beck) are already better than Evans and Dvorak. I like Evans and would resign him, but please get rid of Dvorak. Yes I know he's good in the FO circle.
-Dach looking good, Laine with lots of rust.
-Primeau dialled in- I wonder if he steals starters job from Dikembe?

So far, I'd say Kapanen is the best player on the ice and Anderson is still f***ing useless. Laine looks good - making nice plays that guy aren't ready for but that'll come in time. Hutson has slick wheels. Primeau is shaky. Tuch looks like a good bottom 6er.
