I know it's only 1 period and a scrimmage game, but if it were up to me and I was given the chance, I would waive/trade Dvorak no hesitation to make some room for Kapanen and give an elevated role to Evans (who did super well when relied upon in previous seasons).

I am sure Kapanen would be really good on our PK and bottom 6. I would prefer giving him a chance than rushing Beck.

Also, so refreshing to have a real top 6. I feel Laine - Hutson could be real threat on our PP2 this season.
