Not to beat a dead horse but if Stone doesn't go straight to the locker room, not only is it not a game misconduct but it's also a simple 2 min for slashing. That slash was weak. Useless, but weak

It was a guy sending a message to an opposing fwd that he will hurt if/when he comes close to the net.

Chara made a career out of fishing out far worse abuse in front of his net.

Subban shouldn't be the one to do it, given how valuable he is to us in other roles, but that's what you get when you can't find room for a Tinordi on your roster, yet are loaded up with gilbert/gonchar/Weaver as your depth dmen.

Stone already fell on price once this game, teams don't go far in the playoffs if they let that happen.
