Zibanejad was a game breaking presence again tonight. Simply our best player (other than Shesterkin) and one of the most well-rounded we've had in my lifetime.

Tro is very north/south and Bread is very east/west... I do think these guys will find each other eventually though. I think we just have to be okay with that needing some time to gel.

Remember, Strome and Panarin had very very few even strength goals last year. Most of their even strength chemistry was dried up by the 2021-22 season. So it's only up from here for the second line.

Bread skated better tonight than he did all last season. Would've been nice if he scored on his breakaway but Vasi's going to Vasi.

Kreider could've had one or two.

I thought all three defensive parings looked pretty good honestly despite a miscue here or there.

Power play looked absolutely LETHAL.... and this time actually won some face-offs.
