We'll be there. Not sure which section yet, but we're 100%-sure going. Have never been to a playoff game at the Pond (for obvious reasons), so it should be interesting, if nothing else.

P.S. Looks like you can stop by HealthSouth tomorrow between 12-3 PM and pick up some Kings' paraphernalia to bring into the game with you...

Wish I could go but a new baby and my wife now staying at home means I can't afford the tickets.

Let the Kings chants rain down thunderously for me please.

Staples is louder overall due to more seats and a larger majority of fans cheering for the home team. I went to a Ducks playoff game against SJ in '09 and lost my voice just from trying to talk to my friend so the influx of Kings fans kept the roof on the building when the Ducks scored, which was nice.

Kings fans were loud with the Go Kings Go chants. Lost of high-fives and knowing nods throughout the night during intermissions and then a love fest after the game. Great time.

Duck fan highlight for me was on the walk up to the game down Katella, a Ducks fan came up to me and asked "Is that where Baumgartner ended up" in reference to my '87 Baumgartner home jersey. Yes, after Baumgartner played for Anaheim in '98 or whatever, he came to LA and somehow managed to wear a purple and gold jersey without my knowledge.

The rowdy Kings fans in front of me though did say the shootout would be crazy like 5 minutes in to overtime. That kind of sucked.

Props to those who did go. When the Kings scored it was incredibly obvious how many fans were there.

The gkg chants in the hallways after both of gabby's goals while waiting in line for the bathroom were deafening. Great atmosphere behind the net that kings shot on twice. Make sure the presence is felt for game two!

Other than when goals were scored or the crowd was told to make noise, the kings fans were louder.

How loud was it for Kings fans for those who went?

Not like it was back in the early 2000s (when it really was 60-70% our fans filling the place), but still pretty good. I'd estimate our contingent at about 20-25%. There were a pair of guys sitting almost directly above us (edge of 402 or thereabouts) who were super-loud, and got a few "Go Kings Go!" chants started, which was pretty cool. Our Section (301) was probably about 1/3 Kings fans, including almost everyone directly adjacent to us (VERY cool)!

The coolest thing by far to us, though, is that we were sitting about 75' away from a rather important VIP:
