I can see why Scheif and Connor hate playing with Ehlers. They, and us all, predicted a Jets loss based on how things were going, but then Ehlers does the unthinkable and helps us get two goals.

Can’t expect them to like such unpredictability.

I'd only put so much weight into that narrative. Having Ehlers drive a 2nd line makes us a much more formable team then trying to stack one line.

Jets system looking really good. Zone entry is better, offense looks less one-dimensional. Defense has struggled today but they're getting better.

We're also much better with Kupari, Fleury and Hellebuyck.

Outside of Morrissey I'd say our defense has been pretty good.
