TSN: Gally/Tavares/Willy line makeup interesting...

I’m really liking this line.

you can see why he was drafted high and put up points just a few seasons ago, hes made some nice little skilled plays and passes in just two games...he also has good size and skates well enough for a winger

he already looks so much better than a lot of wingers that played for us this season, and can look even better with time imo, he has talent

Man once we add Foligno OMG we got 3 playoff lines for 1st time ever ... it will give us a legit chance to beat Tampa Vegas and Boston baby ... no one is gonna screw with any of our skill guys

thats just 6.6 points a season difference

In the few games that he has played for us, he plays a soft perimeter game. Not seeing him any more effective than Vesey or Boyd.

I have been impressed by his willingness to get in on the forecheck and use his size. It's JT who I am worried about, he seems to have lost his touch.

What a trash bucket draft lol. I do think Gally is oddly going to work. I have liked what I have seen so far for sure. Was very critical of him as a player in years past. Seems to look hungrier. Maybe that's just my optimistic lenses playing tricks on me. But Gally should not be the second best player in any draft lol

To be fair, the D-men draft class of 2012 is top notch. Regarding FWD:s, I agree that it’s pretty much trash.

Gally/Tavares/Hyman has more to it than Willy getting under played on that line. Move Willy up damn.
Hyman gets on pucks,Gally gets on pucks and Tavares gets on pucks. Hyman can get the zone entries and the other two can cycle with him and cause a better havoc down low. Willy can do zone entries with the top line. Really surprised it hasn’t happened yet even for a look

Simmonds has played like crap since he came back, and to cap it off you want to give up a first.

Galy can skate, hit and has a great shot.
We are not going to trade him after the Leafs management has a vested interest in his skill set.
