I never thought I would say this AT THE END of the buyout pain, but I would have absolutely ZERO issues with blowing this team the fu$# up at the end of the season. Keep Faber, Gus, Rossi, Zeev and perhaps give 97 his money, but I’d move everyone else I could and go younger. And if 97 doesn’t like that, I’d move him too.

I don't disagree much. Problem is that Billy probably can't do this. I would imagine he put his job on the line when he told Leipold he wanted to buyout Parise and Suter. I'm certain he was to have built a contender the year the dead cap goes away. He's riding or dieing on most of this roster.

I can see the problem, the leaders on this team wearing a letter are indeed a failure. Captain Spurgeon went hiding, he doesn't even want to play anymore, or face the media. And where's Foligno, is he playing tonight? Really need some grit out there. Kaprizov gets a pass, the poor guy is doing his best.

Most of the team is a failure right now....not just the guys with letters. The only guys with a pass are Kap and Ek, because they've just come back from missing a lot of time.
