GDT: G81: Wild @ Canucks | 9PM

Our forwards are crap. It's like they don't even try to score. They think it's a good night if they can cycle the puck a couple of times

It's the same principle, just a matter of how much you extend it. Someone "not ready" isn't an excuse to target their head. "Being bigger" isn't an excuse to target their head, especially as that was the primary - or principal - point of contact and not something that happened on follow-through.
But it wasn’t targeting. Chisholm made it unavoidable because of the situation he put himself in. Pettersson has every right to go for that hit there and he doesn’t go out of his way to hit the head, it was just unavoidable.

I wonder if Guerin is going to be fed up with these guys who can’t stay healthy and seriously consider trading Spurgeon and/or Brodin.

I still wanna trade Spurgeon, Brodin, Trenin, let Johansson, Nyquist and Brazeau walk, and come back next year with a new look...but I also don't trust Guerin to do it well, if he was even going to do it

I can see the problem, the leaders on this team wearing a letter are indeed a failure. Captain Spurgeon went hiding, he doesn't even want to play anymore, or face the media. And where's Foligno, is he playing tonight? Really need some grit out there. Kaprizov gets a pass, the poor guy is doing his best.

I think he might do those things honestly. I trust him enough to give him one shot to spend some actual money. He gets one more facelift and if it doesn’t work…

If Zucc had an A tonight things would be different

It's not "unavoidable". I'm not saying Chisholm shouldn't have done better but come on. You're just arguing in circles.
