I think the former. He has several solid seasons to fall back on, so this year still seems more like an anomaly. Definitely not ideal to have to rely on him. Especially when Gus is inconsistent himself from year to year

On the other hand, Flower had his hotdog moment. He's gonna be good from here on out.
It feels dirty and rude to say this, but I will not miss MAF. He’s looked shaky for the vast majority of his tenure here.

Eh, I've been fine with Fleury. Sure, he looks shaky at times but he's also had his great moments, and honestly having him around outweighs the times when he's cost us a game.

I largely agree with this. He's been a fine signing for us. But if I were in his shoes, I would be kicking myself for not calling it quits on top of the world late in my career.
Exactly. He's on the very tail-end of his career. Most goalies look bad more times than not at that point.
Hard to maintain a high level of focus when he's playing once every few weeks. But also can't play him a ton either because he's old lol.
