Really need this one. Beat them and ANA, and I think we're in, as we will have the tiebreaker with more ROW.

Would feel a lot better if one of JEE/Kap was playing. SJS is crap, but has some talent.

If we win tonight and in regulation Friday it's over, we're in. The ROW tie breaker seals it right there.

So;
Kap- JEE - Zucc
Boldy - Rossi - Foligno
MarJo - Freddy - Nyquist
Trenin - Hartman - Vinnie

Brazeau

Adding those two guys and our lineup looks a lot better. Kap will attract a lot of attention, allowing Boldy and Rossi to escape the top shutdown line. Play the 4th line 13-14 minutes instead of 9-11. Vinnie isn't the best defender, but he has a bit of offense to him.

Russo seems to think brazeau will be over Vinnie in the playoffs

Kap-Ek-Hartman
Boldy-Rossi-Foligno
Mojo-Freddy-Zucc
Trenin-Shore-Brazeau/Hino

That’s probably my ideal lineup. I like the middle 2 lines. Hartman has been moving his feet lately and looks poised for a hot streak.

  • Haha
Reactions: Webster
Is it confirmed that we have Kap and Cap back?
I think its time for a little tap dance and some groove.

Boldy in his postgame interview said Zucc is the best playmaker on the team, after the OT win against Dallas. Well most of us know this, also the special chemistry with Kaprizov, they are natural linemates. But Zucc is also an option on the 2nd line for balance.

If he’s what you say he is, he can also benefit the team playing with Freddy & Mojo on the 3rd line.

Expected to return tonight, same with Ek. Two bottom six players did not skate this morning, so it looks like it's going to happen.
Brazeau over Hinostroza is insanity, considering he literally handed NJ the go ahead goal last Monday and is terrible both offensively and defensively. He's not throwing 3 or 4 hits a game even. Ya he has size, but 1) he doesn't even use it and 2) its gonna lead to goals against.

Maybe Im the only one thinking this.

Think everyone agrees except the coach and the GM

They both stink. Hinostroza, however, wasn’t the guy we spent assets to acquire so it stands to reason he is more likely the one who takes a seat.

Virus is an nhl player with speed as an asset , Bozo is at best an average AHL player and does not one single thing well.

Guerin is a complete f***ing moron

To say Hino sticks is a bit of a stretch. He's come in, played harder than most of the others, and produced. Not to mention, I would attribute Hartmans 'improvement' and "moving his feet" as you said earlier has to do somewhat with the fact that he has been playing with Vinnie, and their chemistry speaks for itself. Or the stats- Hartmans xGF% is 49.68 w/o Hino and 56.87 with him.

"Reason" would also be playing the best player, not the one you spent the most on, if you're trying to win.
