GDT: G77: Wild @ Islanders | 6:30PM

I was dumb enough back then that I thought Havlat would be able to replace Gaborik.

I think we all wanted to believe that one

I still remember in 2012, I found out in April through some inside sources that Suter was almost definitely going to sign here in July, and I called my friend and we talked about how great it was going to be for the franchise to sign him and probably Parise too

Long story short, I'm jaded and pessimistic now because I was too optimistic when I was younger

I found myself watching Guillaume Latendresse goal highlights during the game and realized I was more excited about him back then than I am about any wild player that took the ice tonight.

Pretty sad really, but weren't you done with the team?

Something happened to my account when the board flipped out. And just couldn't log in after that.
They wiped half of my posts and my sponsorship status is gone.
I missed hanging out with you guys.
So tonight I read in this thread that you missed me too and finally managed to log in.
Thanks guys, much appreciated.
Welcome back, for you, you get a Swedish Chef all to yourself!

The suter/parise stuff was eye opening, I thought maybe but learned more that we were not very close.

Maybe the next group but if we don't sign kap then it seems like it gets further away. We seem to have a better star this time and potentially a much better young supporting cast of players but too early to tell yet.

That's why I'm not falling into the same trap this time. If Kaprizov walks it's over then and there. But even still, we're more than a Buium and a Yurov away from being Cup contenders. We need a lot more offensive talent here. Kaprizov, Boldy, Rossi, Yurov + at least 1 more legit top six player, IF Yurov hits. Jiricek needs to hit. And we need to restructure our bottom six to actually be useful and not overpaid.
