I don't think he has it in him, especially with Howard leaving. I mean Howard scored 52 in 37 and Stramel still couldn't get close to ppg

I agree but you would still like to see him try or at least drive some offense. Pushing him into a predictable poor season in the ahl might not be the best idea.

I'm not worried about any of it. My expectations for him are on the floor, so anything he does is a bonus.

But in regard to him going back for another year, he could also walk after that year. Wouldn't bother me any, but I doubt the Wild want that.

Hear me out, relocate the team to Houston to become the Aeros, grab a new expansion team that uses the North Stars colors

I would love to see that but he's had a lot of opportunities in his career and he's never been a guy that can drive offense

Way I see it, it's like Brodin. For years we wanted to see him use his skills for more offensive play, but he just isn't that player. For whatever reason, he can't do it. And you can't make him something he isn't.

On a 2 on 1 Boldy was on his forehand, defender was on his backhand and he passes?
No chance for defence to disrupt shot. Those are the plays that are the difference.
 
Gaudreau is one of the few guys that's actually been worth his salt this year

One of those plays where if Boldy has a good line mate that might be something. Shore had no idea what was happening and by the time he figured it out it was too late.
 
Do we look way more tired than we should or is that just because everyone on this team is so slow?
 
Why would they bring up that stat on national TV?? Were for sure losing this game now

If only the Wild could handle Central division foes the way they play against some of the top East teams. I guess the game for Caps is really just a possible stepping stone for Ovi.
