  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
He is unironically what this team needs: a big bodied forward with skill that drives the net. A meathead. But sometimes you just need a meathead to drive the net.
Then we need to get rid of some of the lesser meatheads....Hartman, Foligno, Brazeau, Trenin......too many big bodies who don't provide much offense. I'm tired of our cap being tied up in this crap.

Not too worried about that, a team outside of the playoffs would have to take it from us, and none of them seem so inclined

But the playoffs are gonna be embarrassing
The 9th place team isn't that far behind, and we still can't score. It is still a very realistic possibility that we miss them.

I’m more tired to the cap being more significantly tied to players like Spurgeon, Brodin, Zuccarello, and if others were to have their way here, Rossi.

But you also have to give them time to get warmed up as well. It's gonna be close.

That said, if we make the postseason, it'll be special teams that kills us for the 3rd or 4th straight time. Our coaches just don't want to address it.
I'll have to run the numbers, but the PK has been substantially improved since the Khusnutdinov trade.

I think the last few months point toward Billy being extremely active this summer on the trade front. I think Rossi, Chisholm, Mojo and one of Spurgeon or Brodin will be gone.

Bogo looks completely cooked lately, and the idea of him playing on his off-hand is crazy.

Has an NHL player ever said "yeah their plan is just better than our plan"? Seems like everyone just says "if we stick to our plan we'll win" but idk maybe your plan sucks

Fleury has been poor on both goals. Wild, and out of position. Having said that there is plenty of blame to go around. Our "first line players" Zucc, Boldy, and Rossi, are ineffectual at best(2nd goal was partially due to careless NZ turnover by Zucc). It's pretty bad when Gaudreau is your best forward.

This team can't overcome missing their top forward and best Center for months on end.

Again, it all comes from the top. Nice coaching.

Can't wait to see a very overpaid Nelson make little difference on this roster next year.

Some intermission entertainment.

Zucc, Boldy, and Rossi are aggressively passing up shots, if that is something that can be done. MarJo skates around fast, and doesn't take shots. Trenin doesn't take shots. Sometimes it seems that our mainly defensive Dmen are the most willing shooters on the team.

It's a back2back game but in any other job you get fired for showing no kinda effort. There should be paycheck cuts for performances like this.

I hope he and Colorado love each other so much that he doesn't even make it to FA, that's my Christmas wish this year

If Rossi scores this game let's all agree that we'll all want to sign him and not trade him
