GDT: G67: Wild vs Blues | 7PM CDT

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
His play immediately before the goal is special. He isn’t a lazy player. He is a strong forechecker; he beats a defender that has 10 feet on him to the puck to maintain offensive possession and then gets that shot off that results in a goal.

The guy has never looked “bad” and it made no sense to trade him away for a 27 year old slow UFA. It’s an inexcusable trade.
The Wild penalty kill since trading him is 10/12 for 83% kill percentage and is 100% over the last 2 2/3 games (7 for 7).

Good riddance.

Not a fan of it, but can kind of see why. Zero offense from Khus. At least Billy never gave up prospects etc for a huge overpay. He just did a small tweak to try and get a little help. I can get behind that idea, the players involved is another kettle of fish.

Am just glad he didn’t go for a Boeser type and really overpay with a bunch of prospects or Rossi type deal.

If the 4the line of lumberjacks turns out to be really hard to play against, so be it. If they don’t score a lot, they weren’t before. It is what it is.
So he trades for Brazeau who also has zero offense? Nobody is scoring right now. The only thing that trade did was make us slower.

That’s why I said the players involved is another thing entirely. I get the thinking behind it, not necessarily the return

As far as who Khus was playing with, don’t expect the new guy to score there either with Trenin and Shore. It is what it is.

I 100% believe that Khus got mad about being sent down & Guerin sent him packing.

Khus didn’t even need to be added to that trade for it to have been fair.

If Khusnutdinov is mad and wants out, I get it, but then keep Lauko, that's all.

Then don’t play him on the PK. Maybe the PP and replacing Johansson in the Top 6. Would it have worked? Won’t know since they gave up on a 22 year old.
Can we not make Marat the new Fiala? He was one of the worst offensive players in the NHL. It’s not like he was a healthy scratch either. He got almost 82 games to show signs of life and just never did.

Lmao, the Blues player just went to the bench to get a stick while our guys put on a perimeter passing clinic. They knew our players would do nothing.

Is it somewhat concerning that the Wild are playing 2 waiver pick ups and they are more noticeable than some players that have NMC’s
