It was addressed in the last post game why Hunt was played last game. Mostly attitude, work ethic, character things. If Hunt didn't play well then they were going to double shift wings to the 4th line.

I guess the arguement being made is, that Hunt and Mayhew should've been on the taxi squad instead of the roster, giving the cap space needed to play someone like Rau.

Brad Hunt playing 4th line minutes for 1 game isn't going to affect the season. Brad Hunt being on the roster because he's a good guy just might. Bill Guerin having zero attention to detail most certainly will.
